After School Clubs

We are offering the following lunchtime clubs this term:

Yr3 & Yr4 PH Sports Team Coaching – This half term, the sports coaching sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime are for Yrs 3 & 4. The emphasis of these sessions is on team sports coaching to ensure that the children are better prepared when they take part in tournaments.

  • Year 3 = Thursday
  • Year 4 = Tuesday

After half term these will be for Yr 5 & 6 ahead of their netball tournament at the end of March.

KS2 Journalism Club, 12.45-1.15pm Wednesday - Mrs Burdon is running a journalism club which will include the production of a half termly newsletter. Places are limited to 12 children.

KS2 Italian Club, 12.30-1.00pm Thursday – Miss Watt is running this club and the children will have the opportunity to learn some basic Italian, learn about Italy’s culture and sample Italian food. There is a charge of £5 per child (for 5 weeks) to cover resources and places are offered on a first come first served basis (max 12).

Yr1/2 Creative Writing, 12.30-1.00pm Friday – Miss Jeffery is running a creative writing club for Years 1 and 2.

Gardening Club – this is continuing with Mrs Jacobs on Friday lunchtime.

We currently offer a variety of after school clubs for children from 3.30 to 4.30pm.

These include:

A variety of clubs run each by PH Sports Coaching at a cost of £3.50 per session. From January these will run for 5 weeks, commencing 8th January up until half term.

  • Monday - Tag Rugby
  • Tuesday - Hockey
  • Wednesday - Football
  • Friday - Gymnastics

If you would like your child to attend one of these clubs, please contact the school office for more information.

In addition, we are also able to offer the following after-school clubs, which are run by members of staff.

Wednesday - Dance Club, Mrs Forbes


We also have an early Breakfast Club which runs from 7.45am (please arrive before 8.30am if you would like breakfast). The cost of this club is £3.50 without breakfast or £4.00 with breakfast, and £2.50 without breakfast or £3.00 with breakfast if the children arrive after 8am. There is no requirement to pre-book as this is a drop-in facility.

PH Coaching run successful holiday camps at school during the holidays. The club runs from 8 am until 4 pm every day. There are lots of different activities available. Costs £20 per day (£18 Early Bird Rate); £72 for the 4 day camp (£64 Early Bird Rate).

There are also optional extras:

  • Breakfast Club: 8.00-9.00am - £3 per day; £10 for 4 days.
  • Extra Club: 3.00-4.00pm - £3 per day; £10 for 4 days.
